The idea that prepping supplies are only to be used for disasters (but only certain ones!) is a dangerous way to look at situations. This line of thinking can be the very thing that takes an everyday scenario and turn it into a chaotic mess that could come with a high price tag. Prepping applies more often than not the more mundane everyday things that happen.
Prepping has hit mainstream media and there are thousands of people out there who claim to pre the ‘right way.’ The fact of the matter is that there is no one ‘right way;’ only the way that is right for you. What you may find more often than not is you will use those things you consider preps often, and in everyday situations. If you think about it, it is the everyday situations that can turn into more serious problems and perhaps go as far as becoming a disaster. In the end, prepping is to help you deal with things before they get really bad as well as for disasters.
